How do I sign onto the league once I've joined?

All sign-on information will be sent to you once you have chosen a team in the draft. You must sign onto the league in order to play an official league game. When you are ready to play, select your opponents name in the league standings menu and choose to play "League Game". You must play a league game in order for it to register. tip: to be the home team you must be the one who invites and the away team must be the invitee.

When is the trade deadline and how do we trade?

The deadline for trading player is September 27, '08. If you want to trade players there is an option in-game to send a trade offer to another team owner. After you put in the offer the other team's owner will review and either deny or accept your request.

Are we allowed to go for it on fourth down?

Yes. You are allowed to pick your plays as you see fit. If you think it is in your best interest to go for it on every fourth down then it is entirely up to you. No one is going to ref your individual games. However, be careful to not cross the line between "mad skills" and "glitching" or the other player may file a complaint against you.

What if someone is using glitching to win games?

This league does not encourage using glitches to win games! If you suspect someone of glitching to win games please contact Husky Beast asap. If enough complaints are filed for a particular person, that person may and will be disqualified. However this shouldn't be a problem in this league. We are a Christian Community and therefore respect and care for one other.

What if we get disconnected mid game?

After a disconnect occurs, Madden 09 gives the player who is still connected the choice to either accept or cancel the game. If the player accepts the game, the game will be registered as a 2-0 point win for the connected player and a lose for the disconnected player. If the player cancels the game, the game will not be registered and will have to be played again. If you are winning and get disconnected the connected player will still have the same choice of winning or canceling the game. This is a Madden 09 feature and there is nothing we can do about it. However we are a Christian league and therefore should trust each other to make the right choice. If you are losing by 42 points in the fourth and the other person gets disconnected you should do the right thing and cancel the game. In the makeup game you and the other player should decide whether to play a rematch game or just have the losing player concede the game.

What if I'm getting killed and want to quit or forfeit a game?

You can forfeit or quit a game in the pause menu. Choose concede game.After you do so, the other player will have the choice to either accept or cancel the game. If the player accepts the game, the game will be registered.

What if I want to quit the league mid-season?

You can always quit the league mid-season. Just make sure to PM Husky Beast with your decision and to also quit the league in-game. This is the only way you can officially quit the league. Just make sure you prepare yourself for the verbal beatdown that you will receive in the forums. The league is not responsible for any feelings that are hurt as a result of such a verbal beating. (I suggest you have a good excuse)

What if I have to go on vacation for a week or two and can't play some games?

You can't go on vacation. Tell your family they will have to go without you... just kidding. If you go on vacation and have to miss a few games make sure you let your opponents know that you won't be able to play. But you have to make up those games asap! You can not play any games in advance but you can play past or current week games. If you are going to be gone for three weeks or more than you must quit the league. Remember that by not playing you are holding up the rest of the league and that's not fair to the other members.
